HerCheck NIPT with Microdeletion, Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) with microdeletions is an expanded screening that detects small missing segments of genetic material (microdeletions) in a fetus's DNA,to detect common chromosomal conditions like Down syndrome. Any "high-risk" result must be confirmed through invasive procedures such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and amniocentesis.
